Madame Chantal is a Parisian born French teacher and is dedicated to teaching students Conversational French and Spanish, in an active and fully-engaged environment. Chantal uses a phonic approach to teach French in a way that is interactive and fun for the student. She uses colorful worksheets with cartoon characters, where visual learning is incorporated into the lesson. In the beginning, the student learns to identify characters and their actions in the stories. Then they master the vocabulary and are able to rewrite, retell, and answer questions about the story. The student soon realizes that they can create their own story with words that they have now learned from any previous lessons. Using Chantal’s learning method, students will learn to read, write, and speak in French. Her innovative conversational style of teaching is the result of lifelong training.
